Code of Ethics Against Discrimination for RESISTIME LIVE FEST 2026
Our Commitment
RESISTIME LIVE FEST is committed to creating and maintaining an environment of respect, safety, and inclusion for all attendees, artists, staff, sponsors, and volunteers. We reject and will not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or violence.
Definition of Prohibited Conduct (Discrimination and Harassment)
Any verbal or physical act directed at an individual or group based on, but not limited to, the following shall be considered a violation of this Code:
- Race, color, ancestry, or national origin.
- Gender, gender identity, or gender expression.
- Sexual orientation.
- Physical or mental disability.
- Religion, beliefs, or spirituality.
- Age.
- Socioeconomic status.
- Physical appearance, body size, or clothing.
This includes:
- Derogatory comments, insults, or hate speech.
- Intimidating gestures, sexual harassment, or non-consensual physical contact.
- Intentional exclusion or segregation.
- The display or use of discriminatory symbols.
Participant Responsibilities
All individuals attending or working at RESISTIME LIVE FEST must:
- Treat others with dignity and respect at all times.
- Intervene (in a safe and appropriate manner) or report any conduct that violates this Code.
- Comply with the instructions of event staff regarding the enforcement of this Code.
Reporting and Response Protocol
A. Immediate Reporting:
- Anyone who experiences or witnesses a violation must immediately report it to security personnel, any member of the event team (easily identifiable by uniforms or credentials), or at the information/first aid point.
- Reports may be submitted anonymously or with identification.
B. Response Process:
- Trained staff will respond promptly, ensuring the safety and support of the affected person.
- The incident will be documented confidentially.
- Appropriate and immediate corrective action will be taken.
Consequences of Violations
Anyone who violates this Code of Ethics will be subject to immediate disciplinary measures, which may include:
- Verbal warning.
- Immediate removal from the venue without ticket refund.
- Revocation of credentials (for staff, artists, or sponsors).
- Notification of the appropriate authorities if the conduct constitutes a criminal offense.
Organizational Commitment
The event organizers are committed to:
- Providing mandatory training for all staff on diversity, inclusion, and the management of discrimination-related incidents.
- Ensuring confidentiality and protection against retaliation for those who report incidents in good faith.
- Reviewing and updating this Code annually.
