Manuel Turizo releases his third album '2000' with over a billion streams

Manuel Turizo has released his third studio album on Friday, March 17th. '2000' is his most personal and highly anticipated album, consisting of 15 songs, including hits like 'El Merengue' and 'La Bachata', which, almost a year after its release, continues to rank at number 12 on the Top 50: Global chart.

'2000' already boasts over a billion streams on Spotify. The year when the singer was born gives the album its name, and the main theme of each song in the album is love.

The album features three collaborations: 'El Merengue' with DJ and producer Marshmello, a song that blends electronic music with merengue, 'Éxtasis' with Maria Becerra, and 'Jamaica' with Beéle. Moreover, the remix of 'De 100 a 0' has been included, now featuring Colombian artists Arles and Dann.

Turizo has three albums in the market: 'ADN', released in 2019, which includes hits like 'Una Lady Como Tú' and 'Te Quemaste' featuring Anuel AA; 'Dopamina' in 2021, composed of tracks like 'Quéreme Mientras Se Pueda' and 'La Nota' featuring Rauw Alejandro and Myke Towers, and the newly released '2000'.

The Colombian artist will present his new work on the 'Tour 2000', a tour that started on February 4th in León, Mexico, and will visit over 10 Latin American countries until August, including dates in El Salvador, Ecuador, Argentina, Paraguay, and his home country, Colombia, among others.

Spanish fans will have the opportunity to see the singer perform at various festivals in Spain, such as Bigsound in Valencia, Concert Music Festival in Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz), ResisTime Live Fest in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Palma, and Festival Jardins de Terramar in Barcelona.

However, we are still waiting for the artist to confirm additional countries outside of Latin America to present his new show.
